Field Trips & On Farm Education
On any given fall morning at Harvestville Farm, you’ll see the sights and hear the sounds of children laughing, learning and playing. Offering educational field trips to pre-school and elementary age students has long been a priority for us here at the farm. It just so happens that we’re able to help accomplish that goal in a fun and unique way.
School & Home School Field Trips
Our educational field trips have been structured through the knowledge we have obtained of being a fifth-generation farm, along with the additional educational guidance from one of the owners being a certified educator. Our unique and interactive field trips are loaded with lots of fun and hands-on educational experiences. Field trips are for grades Pre-K through 12th grade.
Virtual Field Trips
Since 2020, Harvestville Farm created and has continued to offer the farm experience with classrooms virtually for those schools who are unable to visit us in person. The following video was created to bring our educational “Talk Time” directly to students, along with a flyover tour of the farm.
