Harvestville Farm opens beginning of May through October 31. We will close temporarily the first few weeks in November (November 1- the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving) to transition for Christmas and will reopen November 18-December 22 for the 2023 Christmas season.

What is available throughout the summer besides home decor and gift items?

Harvestville Farm offers a wide variety of plants, annuals and patio pots throughout the summer along with fresh veggies and fruits from our garden and/or from other local producers. We also feature our Farm to Table Dinners, Zinnia Festival, Sunflower Festival and On Farm Events throughout each summer.

What age is Harvestville Farm appropriate for?
What age is Harvestville Farm appropriate for?

From 2 to 92! You can do any or all the activities that we have. You pick and choose what you want to do. One of the greatest things about the our farm is the fact that it offers something that everyone can enjoy. From babies, all the way up to grandmas and grandpas. Our goal is to make sure all of our guests leave with memories they will cherish!

Keep in mind, Harvestville Farm is a real working farm. Some of our walking areas are mulched or graveled, but most of our surfaces (including the entire maze) are dirt, which gets muddy after it rains. The safety of our guests is always at the forefront when we have recently had rainy weather, but it is wise to come dressed accordingly if the weather has been wet.

Can I bring my pet to the farm?

Sorry, we do not allow pets on Harvestville Farm’s property, whether on a leash or in your arms. Exceptions will only be made for registered service animals. Additionally, there is no shade in the parking lot for your pets to stay in your vehicle.

Can I bring my own food?

Although we serve lunch from “The Pitchfork Cafe” (Tuesdays-Saturdays in the Summer and daily in the Fall), you may bring your own food onto our property. Picnic areas are available on a first come, first serve basis. Private bonfires may also be rented for $25.00. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL is permitted on Harvestville Farm property.

Harvestville Farm has permanent ADA accessible restrooms for women, men and families with each restroom having a changing table available to guests.

What should I bring with me when I visit the farm? What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes you can move in. We recommend you bring sunscreen, water bottles (for the maze) and weather-appropriate clothing.

Can we leave the farm and come back in the same day?

You may leave and return to the farm as often as you like in the same operating day. You must retain your wristband for reentry. This includes going to your car for any reason.

If you lost an item at the farm, connect with a staff member, and we will be happy to help you locate the item and/or retrieve your item from Lost and Found.

Can I smoke on the farm?

Harvestville Farm is a smoke-free environment. If you would like to smoke, we ask that you do so at the designated area in the parking lot.

Pick your own will NOT be available for the 2021 season due to the location of our fields this year.

This is due to our crop rotation cycle and wet spring. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Scenic tractor wagon rides will still be available and included with admission.

When are your horse-drawn wagon rides?

Our horse-drawn wagon rides occur each weekend in October – weather permitting – by Clip Clop Carriage Company.

Is Harvestville Farm open for the Christmas season?
Is Harvestville Farm open for the Christmas season?

Yes! Harvestville Farm is open from November 19-December 22 for the 2022 Christmas Season. Our hours are M-S 10am-5pm and Sundays 11am-4pm. Our barn is filled with holiday joy, along with fresh trees, greens and roping.

When does the 12-acre maze open?
When does the 12-acre maze open?

Our maze opens this year on September 3 and is open daily (weather permitting) through October 31.

Is the 12-acre corn maze appropriate for small children?
Is the 12-acre corn maze appropriate for small children?

If you just want a taste of the maze, we recommend that families with small children do our small maze. It is a nice short walk through a small section of the 12 acre maze that takes less than 10 minutes to walk through. Our employees are always on hand to help if you get lost.

Keep in mind that the maze is a cornfield, so the paths are bumpy, but they are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, stroller, or wagon.

How long does the corn maze take to walk through?
How long does the corn maze take to walk through?

The 12 acre corn maze takes an average time of 45 minutes to 1 hour to walk through.
