Harvestville Farm is excited to announce On Farm Events taking place throughout the year in 2024! Returning event favorites include our Farm to Table Dinners, Zinnia Festival, Sunflower Festival and our popular Find the Wine & Hide the Hops just to name a few! Several NEW special events will be popping up throughout the year, so check back frequently for the latest updated and added events you won’t want to miss!
Please Note: Guests wanting tickets Hide the Hops & Find the Wine will purchase tickets online and pay in FULL. Once purchased, tickets to these events are non-refundable and are required for entry the day/night of the event. It will be the purchasers responsibility to find a replacement guest if he/she is unable to attend.
Upcoming Events in 2024!
Opening for the 2024 Season
Tuesday, April 30
The farm will be re-opening for the 2024 season on Tuesday, April 30! The retail barn will be filled with all things spring! A beautiful array of farmhouse home decor and gift items will also be accompanied by low maintenance house plants and succulents. Fresh homegrown veggies and locally grown fruits will also be available, along with local honey, syrups, cheeses, meats, jams, salsas and relishes.
Award Winning Farm to Table Dinners

Harvestville Farm is excited to announce this year’s Farm to Table Dinners for the 2024 season! Each Farm to Table Dinner will feature fresh produce picked straight from our garden, along with locally grown fruits, vegetables, and meats prepared by area chefs within our regional community. Seasonal menus are chosen as collaborations between each chef and our farm to enhance our guest’s dining experience through incredible flavors, textures, and vibrant color presentations.
Farm to Table Dinners are a wonderful way to have a truly authentic dining experience set within Southeast Iowa’s beautiful countryside. Each dinner consists of a five-course meal, along with a beautiful atmosphere, great conversation, a cocktail bar and wonderful music!
Love Lee County Tour

The Love Lee County Tour is returning once again for 2024! Join the fun and road trip through the beautiful countryside of Southeast Iowa to 15+ family-owned businesses all located within rural Lee County. This is an event you will not want to miss!
Brunch, Bubbles & Blooms
Re-Planned for 2025 due to heavy storms and wet fields
Join us for Brunch, Bubbles & Blooms for this first ever event celebrating our beautiful Flower Fields! Enjoy a beautiful morning brunch accompanied with delicious Mimosas followed by a walk through our flower fields! The event will be a limited ticketed event that’s sure to be very popular!

Supper, Sunset & Sunflowers
Re-Planned for 2025 due to heavy storms and wet fields
Join us for Supper, Sunset & Sunflowers for this first ever event celebrating our beautiful Sunflower Fields! The event is a perfect date night, girls night out or family event! Enjoy an elegant dinner in our barn followed by a walk through our flower fields at sunset. This will be a limited ticketed event.

Hot Air Balloon Glow at the Farm - Sold Out

Join us for this NEW event that has taken over a year to plan! We sure are EXCITED! Help us kick off the fall season with an evening of 40+ activities, food, music and a hot air balloon glow! Kick-Off to Fall Season
August 30 - September 2
The farm will become all things fall beginning Friday, August 30! Hundreds of pumpkins, squash & gourds will be available for purchase along with hardy mums, corn stalks, and fall annuals! Family activity areas will also be open with over 40+ interactive family activities including tractor wagon rides, 12-acre corn maze and both jump pads!
Trivia Night at the Farm - Cancelled Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

A Taste of Harvestville Farm

Come and sample the many different offerings of locally sourced goods at Harvestville Farm! Local Honey, Iowa Maple Syrup, Jams, Jellies, Salsas & Relishes, Cheese, Apple Cider, Homemade Soap, & Cooking Oils! We will also have a sampling of our Apple Cider Donuts, as well as several varieties of our homegrown squash.
Book Signing with Author Beth M. Howard

Beth M. Howard is the author of four books, including Making Piece: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Pie; the cookbook, Ms. American Pie; and her latest release, World Piece: A Pie Baker’s Global Quest for Peace, Love, and Understanding. She has written for The New York Times, Real Simple, and Country Living, among many other publications. She has given a TEDx Talk on the healing powers of pie, and is a regular commentator for her local NPR affiliate, Tri States Public Radio in Macomb, Illinois. From 2010 to 2014, she lived in the iconic American Gothic House in Eldon, Iowa, where she ran the Pitchfork Pie Stand. In 2015, she embarked on a round-the-world journey teaching pie classes in nine countries to promote world peace. As a widow who understands grief and the importance of building community, Howard responded to the Sandy Hook Shooting in 2012 by organizing 60 volunteers to bake 250 pies for the residents of Newtown, Connecticut. Her story has been featured on CBS This Morning, CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, BBC, NPR, the Hallmark Channel, the History Channel, in the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Reader’s Digest, and more. She divides her time between an Iowa farm and Los Angeles, and continues to write, bake pie, and advocate for a better, kinder world.

Air Evac Lands at the Farm
Saturday, October 5
Air Evac Helicopter will land at the farm at 2pm (pending no emergencies) Kids and families will get the opportunity to watch the aircraft land, meet and visit with the pilots, sit in the helicopter, snap pictures, and watch the helicopter take off! This fall event is a must see!
First Responders Appreciation Day
Saturday, October 5
Join us at Harvestville Farm on Saturday, October 5 for “First Responder Appreciation Day!” This one day special event is dedicated to honoring the bravery and service of our local heroes. This family-friendly day will allow all past and/or active first responders – police officers, firefighters, EMT’s, dispatchers and paramedics along with past and/or present active military personnel to enjoy all activities on the farm for free with valid ID. Come an enjoy a day of celebration in the beautiful setting of Harvestville Farm! We SO appreciate all past and present first responders and military personnel!
Scratch Cupcakery Curbside
Saturday, October 12
Scratch Cupcakes are returning to the farm again this fall season..curbside! Come to the farm anytime between 10am – 1pm to snatch your favorite cupcake flavors! Scratch Curbside will also be taking pre-orders until all spots are filled or until 7pm on October 10. To place a pre-order, call the Coralville store at 319-359-2256 and ask to place a pre-order for Curbside on October 12 at Harvestville Farm! After that, only “walk-up” orders will be accepted, so if you’re after a certain flavor, be sure to get to the farm early!
Flashlight Maze Night

Back by POPULAR demand – our Flashlight Maze Night will take place ONE night only this season! Come and trek through our 12-acre corn maze by flashlight! If you thought our maze was challenging during the day try attempting the many twist and turns at night for an entirely different experience! This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages! Come out Saturday, October 12 from 7pm – 10pm – Cost $10/person – Last Admittance into the maze at 9:30 pm
Holiday Cocktail Party

We’re having a Holiday Cocktail Party at the farm! Come and enjoy a NEW holiday experience this Christmas Season! Guests can sample a variety of holiday cocktails from wine, mixed drinks, Harvestville Ole Fashions, and after dinner drinks all while sampling an array of holiday Hors d’oeuvres and appetizers! Cocktail and Hors d’oeuvre recipes will be given away, as well, to help with your holiday gatherings this season! Holiday Shopping will also be available that evening, along with store specials and a chance to win a holiday gift basket! This event will be limited to 50 guests!
